Ablegent

Support

Get Ablegent installed, connected, and making the first change in Live. If something stops, send the setup details support can actually use.

Before you start

  • Apple Silicon or Intel Mac running macOS Sonoma (14) or newer.
  • Ableton Live 12 (non-Trial, non-Beta) installed.
  • English-only at launch. Set Ableton Live to English before using Ablegent.
  • An Ablegent account and an active plan: Ablegent Core, Ablegent Mini, or Ablegent Pro.

First run

  1. Sign in to your Ablegent account, then download and install the Ablegent Mac app.
  2. Start Ablegent. It will run a 2-3 minute setup phase; click through any macOS or Live permission prompts Ablegent needs.
  3. Open a Live Set, then ask Ablegent: "set the tempo to 130".

Model access

Ablegent Core

Uses your supported ChatGPT/Codex account limits for Ablegent support without bundled Ablegent AI credits. Installing Codex is not required. Free ChatGPT plans are not supported.

Ablegent Mini

Includes Ablegent AI credits for regular production moves when you want model use included with Ablegent.

Ablegent Pro

Includes Ablegent Pro AI credits for faster and more complex Ablegent production tasks.

Plan limits

I reached my plan's limits. What now?

Ablegent Core uses your supported ChatGPT/Codex account, so its limits are managed there. Mini and Pro use the model access fixed by their plan and can add an Ablegent Mini or Ablegent Pro credit pack as separate top-up credits after bundled plan usage windows are unavailable. Packs never expire, but matching plan access, available pack credits, billing standing, safety, and abuse controls still apply. Sign in to your account to monitor and manage your plan.

Can I use the same account on more than one Mac?

Yes. Install Ablegent and connect each Apple Silicon or Intel Mac running macOS Sonoma or newer from your account. Separate Macs can run concurrently, and bundled Mini or Pro credits are reserved and consumed from the same account limits. Do not copy local Ablegent credentials between Macs.

Can I use an API key or another provider?

No. API keys and other model-access setups are not supported launch paths. They can create unpredictable costs and unreliable Ablegent behavior.

Troubleshooting

If setup or the first prompt stalls, start with the matching symptom.

Ablegent does not start

  • Make sure you are on an Apple Silicon or Intel Mac running macOS Sonoma (14), have downloaded and installed the Ablegent app, and started it.
  • If macOS asks for permission, approve the prompt and start Ablegent again.

The first prompt stalls

  • Leave Ablegent open through the 2-3 minute setup phase and approve any macOS or Live permission prompts.
  • Set Ableton Live to English before using Ablegent. Non-English Live UI can cause setup or task reliability issues.

Live does not change

  • Make sure Ableton Live 12 is open with a Live Set loaded.
  • Restart Ablegent and Live, then try: "set the tempo to 130".
  • If you still need help, send your Mac model, macOS version, Live version, plan, and the last prompt you tried.

Where support can help

Ablegent support helps you install, connect, diagnose, and recover Ablegent on Apple Silicon or Intel Macs running macOS Sonoma or newer with Ableton Live 12 (non-Trial, non-Beta) installed.

We can help with

  • Setup and compatibility triage: Mac, macOS, Ableton Live 12, English Live UI, permissions, app version, and plan state.
  • Account, checkout, cancellation, billing, and Ablegent access issues.
  • Privacy-safe diagnosis from issue details and approved diagnostics, without Live Sets, samples, MIDI, API keys, auth details, or payment details.
  • A reply by email with a fix, workaround, clear reason it cannot proceed, or escalation when the issue looks Ablegent-side.

Where support stops

  • We cannot fix ChatGPT/Codex account limits, ChatGPT/Codex billing, model-service outages, free ChatGPT plans, API-key setups, unsupported Live versions, Live Trial, Live betas, non-English Live UI, or Macs outside the Apple Silicon or Intel macOS Sonoma-or-newer support matrix.
  • Support can help Ablegent run. It cannot judge the track for you, coach the mix, approve the result, or make final track decisions.

Billing and refunds

  • Ablegent Core includes a 7-day trial before paid billing begins. Ablegent Mini, Ablegent Pro, and credit packs are billed as shown at checkout unless a separate no-charge offer is shown before purchase.
  • Launch offers are one per person or payment identity. Repeated launch-offer use may be cancelled, refunded, voided, denied, or sent to support review.
  • After paid billing starts, refunds are limited to legal requirements, billing errors, or confirmed Ablegent-side service failures.
  • Cancelling stops your next renewal. It does not refund the current paid period.
  • Refunds are not available for change of mind, unused time, disliked musical results, usage limits, unsupported setups, ChatGPT/Codex account issues on Ablegent Core, past billing periods, consumed pack credits, or pack requests outside the stated 14-day windows.
  • If you think a charge is wrong or Ablegent could not run because of an Ablegent-side issue, contact support within 7 days of the charge.
