Ablegent And Your Music

Ablegent turns your direction into concrete changes in your Ableton Live Set. That requires a local Mac app, local Ableton Live tools, account services, and model access.

Your Live Sets, samples, audio, MIDI, and similar musical material stay on your computer. Ablegent does not take screenshots or upload raw musical material. Ablegent does not use your raw musical material for model training.

Local tools may read Ableton Live state, project metadata, clips, routing, meters, selected material, and setup state on your computer to perform the work you ask for and show what changed. Local inspection is not upload.

Personal Data We Collect

We may collect personal data that you provide, generate, or make available when you use Ablegent, including:

  • Account data, such as name, email address, sign-in identifiers, country, access status, and subscription state.
  • Payment data, such as payment status, invoices, tax details, plan, renewal, cancellation, refund, and chargeback information handled through our payment processor.
  • Usage data, such as plan usage, credits remaining, limits reached, reset times, app version, setup state, compatibility state, model access status, errors, retries, latency, task category, and support identifiers.
  • Model-access data, such as prompts, responses, task context, provider status, and usage information needed to complete requested workflows. Model-access data must not include raw musical material.
  • Communications, such as support messages, research responses, and feedback.
  • Diagnostics, such as logs, local summaries, tool output, or session details. Diagnostics must not include screenshots, audio, MIDI, samples, lyrics, raw file paths, or other musical material.

Default telemetry should not include prompts, responses, Live Set names, track names, raw file paths, lyrics, musical material, screenshots, audio, MIDI, or samples.

Purposes

We may collect, use, and disclose personal data for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, including to:

  • Create, authenticate, and manage accounts.
  • Provide subscriptions, access, updates, setup, diagnostics, support, and model access.
  • Process payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds, taxes, fraud checks, and chargebacks.
  • Show usage, credits remaining, limits reached, and reset times.
  • Provide model access for the plan or supported account path you use.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve Ablegent.
  • Respond to support, privacy, legal, security, abuse, and billing requests.
  • Analyse product quality, reliability, and compatibility without using raw musical material.
  • Send service notices, account notices, security notices, and support messages.
  • Send marketing only where permitted by law and your communication choices.
  • Comply with law, enforce our terms, resolve disputes, and protect Ablegent, users, providers, and the public.

Consent And Withdrawal

By using Ablegent or submitting information, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data for the purposes described in this Policy.

You may withdraw consent by contacting us through the support or account surfaces we provide. We may need reasonable time to process the request. We will explain likely consequences before acting on the withdrawal where required. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from providing account access, support, subscriptions, model access, updates, diagnostics, or other parts of Ablegent.

Withdrawal does not affect collection, use, or disclosure that is authorised or required by law.

Access And Correction

You may request access to personal data about you that is in our possession or control, or ask how it has been used or disclosed during the preceding 12 months, by contacting us through the support or account surfaces we provide.

You may also ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data. We may need to verify your identity before handling an access or correction request. We may charge a reasonable fee for access requests where permitted by law and will inform you before processing a request that carries a fee.

Disclosure

We may disclose personal data to:

  • Service providers that help operate Ablegent, including hosting, analytics, email, support, payment, fraud-prevention, security, update, and model-access providers.
  • Payment providers for payment, tax, refund, renewal, chargeback, fraud, and subscription operations.
  • Model providers where needed to provide the model-access path you choose or receive through your plan.
  • Professional advisers, insurers, auditors, banks, payment networks, and compliance vendors.
  • Regulators, law-enforcement bodies, courts, or other parties where required or authorised by law.
  • A buyer, investor, successor, or adviser in connection with a merger, financing, restructuring, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business.

We require service providers to protect personal data and use it only for authorised purposes.

International Transfers

Ablegent is operated by a Singapore company and may use service providers in Singapore and other countries. Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, we will take steps required by the PDPA to ensure that the transferred data receives a standard of protection comparable to the protection under the PDPA, unless an exception applies.

Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, for legal or business purposes, or as required or permitted by law.

We may retain account, billing, usage, security, support, and legal records after an account closes where needed to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, enforce agreements, maintain financial records, or handle tax, audit, payment, refund, and chargeback requirements.

Local session history, if enabled, should prefer local encrypted storage over cloud transcript sync. You should be able to delete local history and inspect local summaries.

Protection

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or similar risks.

No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your Mac, Ableton projects, provider accounts, payment accounts, and Ablegent account credentials secure.

Ablegent Core And Third-Party Providers

For Ablegent Core, model use runs through your supported ChatGPT/Codex account. That provider's terms and privacy practices apply. Ablegent should show the active provider path before use.

For Ablegent-bundled model access, Ablegent and its model providers may process the prompts, responses, usage information, and context needed to complete the requested workflow. Ablegent must not describe that path as local-only. Raw musical material stays local and must not be included in model-access data.

Children

Ablegent is intended for users who are at least 18 years old or otherwise have legal capacity to enter into the Terms. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new date. Material changes should be communicated through an appropriate product, account, or website surface.
